Milestones
Pam & Allan Olson will be celebrating their 50th anniversary on Saturday, March 15. They were married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, Minnesota March 15, 1975. They are taking a trip to celebrate the occasion; a private event with family will be held at a later date.
Micky turns 90. Wish her a happy birthday this week!
Rolf Hunce Hoyem and Patrica Hoyem are both celebrating there 91st birthdays and also there 72nd wedding anniversary which is February 21st. They have four children Vicki, Pam, Julie and Greg. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
After 33 years of dedication and hard work, Kenny Sampson will be retiring from D-S Beverages. Throughout his career, Kenny has been an invaluable part of our team and will leave a lasting impact on colleagues and the community.

Lon and Diane (Thorsteinson) Volrath were married in San Diego, CA on February 17th, 1957.
Bob and Jane were married February 15, 1975. Celebrating 50 years with their three children Jason (Ann) Gustafson, Greta (Bobby) Strom, Jacob (Karoline) Gustafson and Seven grandchildren at hockey games.
Orlin and Louise Bakken, Fargo, ND, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on February 12, 2025. They were married in Wahpeton, ND, two weeks after Orlin returned from Korea. Louise was teaching in Halstad, MN, at this time. They raised their family in Wahpeton. Orlin and Louise have three daughters, Lori Bakken, Lani (Scott) Bennett, and Karla (Scott) Hiedeman, and three grandchildren, Jon, Kendall, and Ethan, along with their significant others and families. A private family celebration will be held.
Ken and Mona (Braaten) Anderson were married on February 6, 1965 in Trondhjem Lutheran Church, rural Rosholt, SD. Sixty years later, they celebrate with their 3 children: Shelly Young, Fargo, ND; Stacy and Todd Wahlund, Richville, MN; and Scott and Sue Anderson, Rosholt, SD. They are blessed to have 6 grandchildren: Alison McDaniel, Amy Engfer, Kaitlyn Anderson, Erica Wahlund, Mollie Hauser and Shane Wahlund. They are also proud to have 6 great-grandchildren: Elliot, Louise, Madilyn, Willa, Scarlett and Jonah. Ken and Mona continue to reside at their original farmstead in rural Rosholt. They also enjoy time at their home on Deer Lake near Battle Lake, MN.

Hal and Diane Fisher, Wahpeton, united in marriage 40 years ago, December 29, at Kindred Lutheran Church. They celebrated by taking a tropical vacation with their kids and grandkids. Congratulations on 40 years, Mom & Dad!
Robert and Jackie Qualley were married on Christmas Day, 1954, in Horace Lutheran Church. Seventy years later, they celebrate with two daughters and two sons: Beth Grosen (Johannes), Maple Grove, MN; Mark (LuAnn), The Villages, FL; Jean Dugan (Joe), Webster Groves, MO; and John, Moorhead, MN. There are six grandchildren: Sven Grosen, Rachel Dean, Jack and Sarah Brodshaug, Patrick and Brian Dugan. They’re proud to have five great grandchildren: Parker, Eliza, Rylan, Margot and Lena. Dr. Maurice Bonemeyer will be celebrating his 100th Birthday with family and friends at his long-time Fargo home. He is a World War II POW veteran and practiced dentistry for over three decades in the Black Building in downtown Fargo.
Audrey and Dale Markuson, formerly of Moorhead, were married in Hannaford, North Dakota on December 26, 1949 and will celebrate their 75th Anniversary with family at their winter home in Homosassa, Florida. They reside at Cotton Lake, Rochert, MN during the summer months. They have 2 sons, 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. The love and lives they share together and with their family and friends has touched many and is truly a blessing to all.
Erwin and Jean Beilke celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on December 11th. They were married Dec 11, 1954 at Kindred Lutheran Church. They have 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
