Fidelio Biofreiland AG was founded on September 12, 1994 as the successor company to Porco Fidelio AG. The main tasks of Fidelio-Biofreiland AG consist of the consistent development of special marketing structures for slaughter cattle from controlled organic farms with free-range animal husbandry.

For this purpose, interested organic farmers are advised as required with regard to husbandry, breeding and feeding, butchers with Fidelio meat and other sales channels are supported and inspected in cooperation with the inspection body Bio Inspecta AG.

In addition to marketing livestock for slaughter, Fidelio-Biofreiland AG also brokers live cattle (piglets, drinkers, fattening monkeys) between organic farms. Fidelio-Biofreiland AG is a licensee of Bio Suisse for the performance of these tasks.

Fidelio Produkte AG only processes Fidelio animals from certified Bud farms and produces Fidelio sausage and meat products in controlled organic quality. Fidelio Produkte AG is subject to inspection and certification in accordance with EN45011 by Bio Inspecta AG, Frick.

Fidelio Produkte AG specializes in supplying butchers, the catering trade and the retail trade with Fidelio meat and high-quality Fidelio sausage and meat products. All Fidelio products are prepared and labeled according to customer requirements.
