What the "Front" on Bärenplatz is to the people of Aarberg, the "Stedtli" is to the people of Aarberg. Restaurant after restaurant line the town square, and the small town even has its own open air festival, the "Stars of Sounds", which has been taking place for years. The "Hirschen" is also all about gastronomy and music. After a long period of vacancy, the restaurant was recently reopened as a "cult bistro" including seven hotel rooms.

As a boutique hotel, the "Hirschen" focuses on individual room furnishings. Music fans will be particularly enthusiastic about room 4. Snare drums serve as bedside tables, a bass drum as a bistro table and the autographs of Büne Huber and other musicians are emblazoned above the bed. Managing Director Ema Baptista also has the rhythm in her blood. Born in Portugal, she comes from a family of professional musicians and was the lead singer in a rock band when she was young.
