Our company history

On January 1, 2012, the Citroën Garage in Affoltern am Albis, owned by long-time Citroën garage owner Rolf Brönnimann, underwent a generational handover. R. Brönnimann & Co became Garage Brönnimann-Zemp GmbH with business owner Michael Zemp.

After 9 years as a mechanic and workshop manager at Garage R. Brönnimann & Co., Michael Zemp took over with the traditional French brand Citroën and continued to run the business in the usual manner.

The building underwent a makeover and was modernized according to the specifications of the Citroën house brand.

Since January 1, 2020, as a new "LE GARAGE" partner, we are also happy to be your workshop for other brands and are thus building up a second mainstay in addition to Citroën brand representation.

The year 2022 stands for change... After 10 years with the Citroën brand, the brand representation of Garage Brönnimann-Zemp GmbH will be handed over.

Thus, the Citroën dealer network will lose its location in Affoltern am Albis after more than 43 years.

Now, as "LE GARAGE", we apply our knowledge and experience to all brands. Of course, we are happy to continue serving Citroën customers as usual.

Since mid-February 2022, the change has also been visible on the building.

We are delighted with the new company logo and the new look.

Thanks to its many years of experience with the Citroën brand, it is not only a competent partner for new vehicles equipped with electronics, but also for Citroën classics such as the 2CV6 (Döschwo), Traction Avant (Légère) or D models. Even the now rare models such as Xantia, XM or Saxo, are maintained by us and kept on the road.
