The culinary meeting place in the Säuliamt

During the day, guests meet here for a snack, a quick lunch or an extended business lunch with a business meeting - every day. After work, our regulars' table and tapas bar are the center of attention. Here you can meet up for a lively chat or get in the mood for the evening with an aperitif. From 6 p.m. onwards, you can indulge yourself after a hectic day - from our kitchen with Italian & seasonal specialties or homemade pizzas and from the wine cellar with exquisite wines at reasonable prices. And in the late hours, we are also a meeting place for various clubs to enjoy a cozy get-together.

Our beautiful, shady garden terrace with its vine-covered pergola is the meeting place in summer and a real insider tip, where you can experience atmospheric hours - almost like on vacation.

A restaurant in Affoltern am Albis with exclusivity and a long-standing tradition

For 30 years, the Weingarten has proven its exclusivity and high quality with unwavering continuity. The family business has been run by the 2nd generation of hosts Anita & Andreas Häberling since 2002. Andreas and his kitchen crew have been delighting their many regular guests for years with their Italian classics and seasonal specialties. The contemporary cuisine uses only impeccable products whose quality and price the hosts can vouch for. At lunchtime, guests appreciate the varied menu, but also the fact that they can choose from the entire à la carte menu. Since the complete refurbishment in 2008, the interior of the 150-year-old Riegelhaus has been modern and stylish, creating an indescribably pleasant ambience where guests enjoy spending time.

Our philosophy

Always move with the times and be innovative, but still maintain a certain tradition and calm. Above all, however, we are always true to one principle: every guest is warmly welcome here and is pampered in a friendly, attentive and individual way! The tone of the 18-strong team is just as sociable and informal, so it is not surprising that two people can already look back on 22 years and five on 10 or more years of service in our vineyard. The team's loyalty to us and our business is also our recipe for success, which is why all our guests simply feel completely at ease and at home with us.
