How well you feel depends massively on your visual comfort and the health of your eyes. Promoting both and maintaining them in the long term is the aim of our eye check.

Our philosophy is to provide you with preventive and holistic support. Our holistic eye check is much more than a normal lens assessment. It also includes measurements for preventive healthcare and the testing of all important visual functions. If we detect any abnormalities, we will of course refer you to an ophthalmologist immediately. We provide this service with the utmost care and continuous further training. You will only be examined by specialists who have been trained for many years.

The check-up includes:

- Medical history
- Preliminary measurement
- Eye pressure measurement
- Eye test
- Examination of the back of the eye 

We recommend that you have such an examination every 2-3 years . Please make an appointment with us by calling 061 703 02 02. Such an appointment takes about 30 minutes and costs Fr. 49.-. If you buy glasses, the entire examination is of course free of charge

A contact lens fitting costs Fr 89.-.

This includes:

1st appointment (30 minutes)
During the initial consultation, we determine your wearing requirements. When, where and how often you would like to wear contact lenses. We will then examine the front part of your eye to make sure that it is suitable for contact lenses. If necessary, an eye test will also be carried out. Based on all the measurements, we will then order a first pair of measuring lenses for you.

2nd appointment (60 minutes)
We will show you how to use a contact lens. Together we will practise putting them in and taking them out and see how contact lens hygiene works. Of course, the fit on the eye will also be checked afterwards. Once you have mastered the basics, you can go home with the contact lens and practise putting it in and taking it out.

3rd appointment (30 minutes)
You come for a check-up with the contact lens on your eye. The lens should have been on your eye for at least 3 hours so that we can check the "long-term fit". We assess the movement and fit of the contact lens and discuss how you feel wearing it. If certain parameters need to be changed again, we will order new measuring lenses. If all parameters are correct, we can order the final lenses for you.

If you wear the contact lenses, we recommend that you have a check-up with us once a year. This contact lens check-up costs Fr. 79.- and also includes all trial lenses. If you opt for our contact lenses "with service", this amount will of course be waived.

Blind flight? That won't happen to you with us
Would you like to get your driver's license or do you need to transfer a foreign driver's license? You can do it all with us.

How to proceed:

1. print out the cantonal form or get it from the municipality (see links below)
2. take officially authorized identification with you (ID, driver's license, passport)
3. if available: Take glasses or contact lenses with you
4. Visit us without an appointment

Glasses service
Are your glasses askew or in need of a wellness day? We always offer a free service for your glasses. Our service includes:

- Ultrasonic cleaning
- Changing the nose pad
- Tightening all screws
- Adjusting the glasses and readjusting them to your head
- Re-polishing plastic glasses if necessary
- Oiling horn-rimmed glasses

Repairs
We are happy to tackle even the most hopeless cases in our workshop. Whether it's soldering, cementing, filing, grinding or polishing, we do everything we can to ensure that you can wear your beloved glasses again. If this is no longer possible, we will make every effort to find another solution with you, such as reworking them into a different frame.

Are you or your loved ones unable to walk or can't leave your home for any reason? No problem, we will be happy to come to you. We can provide the following services on site at your home :

- Eye test
- Adjusting and fitting glasses
- Eyewear advice and sales

Thanks to our close cooperation with the retirement homes and ophthalmologists in the region, the entire administrative process can also be handled without any problems. We take care of everything!
