My name is Patrick Bütler. I am the owner of Velo Bütler and have been a passionate bike mechanic since 2015. During my time as a bicycle mechanic in various sports stores, I started refurbishing and overhauling second-hand bicycles in Aarburg in 2017 in order to sell them at a reasonable price and thus took my first step into self-employment.

I noticed that the demand for new bikes and e-bikes was high. My warehouse and workshop were soon too small and it became increasingly difficult to meet customer requirements. As it was not possible to expand or extend the warehouse and workshop due to building regulations, I looked for a new location where I could develop. By chance, I then heard that there had been great demand for a bicycle store in Bad Zurzach for some time.

I then got in touch with various people and store owners in the region and so I was able to open my new store on August 5, 2019 at Hauptstrasse 12 in Bad Zurzach.

The success proved me right. I was soon able to call a considerable customer base my own. I could feel how happy the people of Bad Zurzach were to have a bike mechanic in town again. I was particularly pleased by the large number of people who brought their bikes or e-bikes to me for servicing. They really appreciate the fact that I do the maintenance on all bikes and e-bikes, even if they weren't bought from me.

I am currently in the process of setting up a second base in Gersau. Even if the bikes are still being repaired in Bad Zurzach today, I can imagine carrying out repairs on site in Gersau in the future.
