LA BEDRA - AGRICULTURE AND GASTRONOMY
Welcome to La Bedra Farm and Gastronomy, since 2008 registered with Bio Suisse. We sell organic beef and products from the Cioss Prato DOP alp. We offer fork to fork services and products from pasture to plate.

Direct sale
From July to September you are welcome to Villa Bedretto by phone appointment.
From November to May you can buy fresh organic meat from our Dexter calves that drink their mother's milk and eat grass, as long as possible on pasture. You can reserve it at any time. I will inform you as soon as I know when it will be available.
All year round or while supplies last, Cioss Prato DOP alp cheese is available as well as alp pig charcuterie. In October there is fresh meat, luganighetta, luganighe and cotechini from the alp pigs.
Our cattle
On our farm, animal welfare is very important. Therefore, our cattle spend the winter in a spacious barn with regular outdoor exit and are grazing from April to November. Dexter breed cows are small and sturdy. Therefore they are ideal for our steep pastures in the Bedretto Valley. As of 2019, Riona and Klivia, two Jersey-breed dairy cows, are part of the herd.
Bedretto Valley, our territory
Our cattle graze from late May to mid-October in the Bedretto Valley where we also harvest most of the winter forage. We mow dry meadows rich in rare flowers that would otherwise become overgrown. Thanks to our cattle, we can offer you delicious foods from the Bedretto Valley.
Gastronomy
We gladly prepare appetizers and Bio buffets with our natural, tasty and wholesome products.
