Description
Massage
Classical massage
The classical massage consists of 5 different grip techniques: stroking, kneading, rubbing, vibration, tapping and clapping. These massage techniques increase blood circulation, relax the muscles and loosen adhesions.
Breuss massage
By stretching and extending the spine and massaging in special St. John's wort oil, which has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties, the intervertebral discs can regenerate and spinal misalignments can be gently corrected.
Key zone therapy according to Dr. Marnitz
Key zone therapy according to Dr. Marnitz is a manual therapy that has a reflective effect. This takes place directly via the central nervous system as well as via the peripheral nervous system with its nerve nodes. This form of therapy is mainly used for orthopaedic disorders to mobilize and relieve pain in joint and spinal disorders and for treatment before and after surgery. As no great pressure is applied and the method does not stimulate blood circulation over a large area, it is also particularly suitable as an accompanying treatment for lymph drainage.
Thorn therapy
Thorn therapy can be used to correct functional leg length discrepancies and to realign vertebrae that are not in their normal position without great pressure, but with the patient's cooperation and movement. As a pair of nerves emerges from each vertebra that supplies organs and tissues in the same body segment, positive effects are simultaneously achieved in these areas.
Lymphatic drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a special massage that uses gentle, pumping techniques to decongest the tissue. The aim here is not to relieve tension but to stimulate lymph flow
This helps to reduce swelling more quickly after operations and congestion. Scarring is positively influenced and inflammation and pain mediators are removed.
When is lymphatic drainage used?
- After operations
- Injuries/swelling
- Water retention in the tissue
