Description
Description & special features
Heal your body with alternative medicine.
As preventive as it is curative, traditional Chinese medicine is a method that has been around for thousands of years in China. The human body is a microcosm, and traditional Chinese medicine aims to make the Biao (exterior, surface) and the Li (interior, deep), thus the whole body, function in harmony.
Like Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, is a complete medical system with its own tools and particular way of interpreting the causes of disease, making diagnoses and conceiving physiology.
Practices based on acupuncture, cupping and Chinese pharmacopoeia form excellent means of controlling, preventing or eliminating the symptoms of many pathologies.
Care
Acupuncture
By planting needles on certain precise points, acupuncture puts blocked vital energy (Qi, breath) back into motion. The needles used are sterile, in several sizes and single-use.
Ventouses
The method involves applying small jars to the skin. Negative pressure is created by lighting an alcohol-soaked cotton ball inside the container, and placing them on specific areas of the body.
The patient feels no pain, only a sensation of pulling and heating of the skin.
Phytotherapy /Chinese Pharmacopoeia
Phytotherapy/Chinese pharmacopoeia is therefore a very rich and complex practice, where the patient is often prescribed a formula suited to his or her nature. Diagnosis is the same as in acupuncture, with observation of the various parts of the body (pulse, tongue).
Electro-acupuncture
Electro-acupuncture applies a gentle electric current to needles. It is often used to combat severe or chronic pain. But it is also used when a stronger stimulation is required than that obtained by simply manipulating the needles.
Auriculotherapy
is a technique for treating certain illnesses by placing needles in specific areas of the auricle in order to stimulate them. a method of treatment that uses reflex points located on the ear. In Chinese medicine, as with the feet, the ears represent the human body. By applying seeds or magnets to the reflex zones it is also possible to heal.
