The new Clean Air Ordinance has been in force since 1.1.08. With the introduction of the new LRV, all newly installed wood-burning stoves must comply with emission and particulate matter limits. This applies to tiled or storage stoves as well as to fireplaces and fireplace stoves and wood-burning stoves. Tiled stoves built according to the calculations of the VHP stove calculation program comply with these limit values if operated correctly. The calculations and plans for a tiled stove must be submitted to the VHP assessment office. These are checked there and a device label confirms that the stove is LRV-compliant.
