The "Mini Center" kindergarten is a social-educational service aimed at children from about 3 months to 3 years of age, who need a daytime placement outside the family for various reasons: necessity of work of both parents, single-parent families, special needs of the child who is to be placed in a community of his peers. Upon request, children as young as 4/5 years old are also accepted if, for a variety of reasons, they are not immediately placed in kindergarten.
The facility is licensed by Lfam, is open about 240 days a year and can accommodate 20 children from the region. The 'institution is nondenominational and apolitical.
The basic principles by which the educational - pedagogical project of the nursery is inspired are:

• attention to the child and respect for individual rhythms of growth

• recognition of the child's needs and resources
• the constant dialogue between the family and the educational staff
• the provision of a safe environment in which the child can experiment, express himself, orient himself, develop autonomy and social-affective relationships

Tiny room (3 to 12 months)
The space is divided into two rooms. A small room with single beds and mattresses, "the sleeping room". A space, where in one corner there is a changing table with custom cabinets, a soft corner, for toddlers, a desk for adults, a cabinet with toys

Playroom.
It is divided into several corners. The little house corner where the child has the opportunity to experience symbolic house play (ironing, cooking, dolls, strollers, etc...), a reading corner with pillows and books where the child can sit and leaf through them and look at them, the toy car and garage corner, the dress-up corner and the construction corner.

Motion and Sleep Room
There are several play materials, a manse with radio and CDs, the sleeping mats and a chest of drawers containing sheets and covers. Various materials such as balls, scarves, ropes, hoops, etc. are used during the day. Motor activity is emphasized in this room, thus giving children the opportunity to make an up-and-down path, run, jump, dance to the rhythm of music, etc. This room is also used for siestas and each child has a mat and marked bedding.

Dining Room
There is a cabinet containing lunch supplies (dishes, bibs,...). A cabinet with small dividers containing all the materials needed for play and creative activities and table games. A blackboard, tables and child-sized chairs. Snacks, lunches, snacks, table games and craft activities take place in this room.

The bathroom
There is a changing table, cabinets with baskets for changing clothes and diapers (individual), three sinks with mirrors and a glass holder shelf for toothbrushes. Two toilets, one baby-sized that allows them to be independent. A washing machine. A small storage room for cleaning products and materials. A pharmacy. In the bathroom, children have the opportunity to play with water.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for the preparation of all meals served to children. State-of-the-art appliances and tools enable the cook to prepare fresh, wholesome food. Every year our kitchen is examined by the cantonal food health authority.

Terrace
Our terrace measures 60m2, 50 of which are covered and therefore usable in all weather. The space is divided into two areas, one is specially designed for babies, while the second is more suitable for older children. In summer, children can take advantage of the swimming pool installed on the terrace: in winter, the same pool is filled with colored balls and can therefore be used in all seasons. Various games suitable for children can be found on the terrace.

The proposed activities are formulated both individually and in small groups, taking into account the motivation of each one and respecting their individual rhythms.Playful, creative, expressive and musical activities are proposed.

...such as sand, water, flour, shaving foam, salt dough, the draws, the plastiline... marks a really important stage in the evolution of the child's creativity; with these elements he has the opportunity to create what did not exist before. These activities fulfill many of the child's needs from the cognitive, motor and expressive point of view.
