Responsible for the municipalities: Horgen (incl. district of Hirzel) and Oberrieden

General tasks of the debt collection office

• Execution of debt collection (including seizures and realizations)

Other tasks of the debt collection office:

• Enforcement of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG)

• Execution of debt enforcement proceedings (payment orders/attachments)

• Provision of debt enforcement information from the register

• Execution of retentions and Enforcement of retentions and attachments

• Realization of movables and real estate

• Maintenance of the retention of title register

• Maintenance of the commercial register for individuals and legal entities domiciled in Horgen and Oberrieden

Duties of the municipal mayor's office

• Deliveries in civil and judicial matters

• Recording official findings in civil matters/actual status

• Authentication of signatures, Extracts of minutes and documents

• Voluntary public auctions and participation in auctions

• Enforcement of court orders and prohibitions, expulsions from homes, auctions, etc.

• Involvement in the administration of criminal justice (house searches)
