Le Cygne Blanc Sàrl is a tea-room, bakery, patisserie and bar all in one. Our artisan bakery is the only one in Monthey that makes its own bread, and has built its reputation on the famous grandmother's bread (the old-fashioned way with lots of fermentation and sourdough as it was done back in the day) as well as the Sunday bread (crown-shaped) made with egg whites and the Montheysanne fougasse.

The establishment has been in existence for over 30 years (in its early days, it was called the Black Swan) and is commonly referred to as "Le Cygne" by the regulars who frequent it. The patisserie offers excellent Portuguese specialties and is sure to amaze you with its personalized birthday and special occasion cakes simply delicious. 

Our tea-room is the most modern in Monthey. Renovated 3 years ago, it is high-ceilinged, with a tree in the center and has a smoking corner. Customers can see bread and pastry being made through the door between the store and the laboratory.
