THOUGHTS ON DOG RELATIONSHIP AND OUR PHILOSOPHY

Nowadays, dog ownership is becoming increasingly difficult. Many more dogs in ever smaller spaces and stricter dog laws require good basic training of our four-legged friends. Whether Great Dane or Dachshund. It is essential that the dog behaves decently in everyday situations, e.g. does not chase joggers, cyclists, cats etc., does not stand up to strangers, behaves calmly in restaurants, is friendly towards people and animals and can be called off in any situation. Otherwise, problems of any kind are inevitable. Unfortunately, we keep seeing other images that have a negative impact on attitudes towards dogs in our society. Dogs that are untrained and underemployed quickly mutate into so-called "problem dogs". It is foreseeable that overburdened dog owners will sooner or later give them away. Animal shelters are full of such candidates. At our dog school, you have the opportunity to learn interesting facts in various courses and strengthen the bond with your dog.

 

TRAINING DOGS

Like its ancestor, the wolf, the dog has a good understanding of its role. They need us humans to lead them as "pack leaders". Taking responsibility for a dog therefore means using clear rules to communicate to the dog what is desirable or not. It is up to each individual dog owner to keep, train and socialize their dog appropriately. This means that the owner alone is responsible for providing the dog with the best possible care, exercise, activity and EDUCATION. This is how the dog becomes and remains socially acceptable! Even if dog sports and competitions are not the goal, every dog has a right to a solid basic education (education = socialization with our environment).

 

Adapted limitation of the dog is just as much a part of the sovereign status of a dog owner as careful handling. The terms "freedom" and "boundaries" are interdependent: without an awareness of boundaries, there is no awareness of freedom. A well-trained dog not only stands out positively and brings joy to its owner, but can also enjoy a lot of freedom.

Our trainers are familiar with many breeds and are constantly attending further training courses and seminars. Each of us is also involved in various dog sports. It is important to us to respond to each individual human-dog team and to find a solution for every problem.
