Tecnoterra SA, a company founded in 1987, has established itself mainly in the field of special foundations (sheet pile bulkheads, vibrated piles, etc.), collaborating in the construction of the A2 freeway junctions and some lots of the A5, A9 and A16 freeways.
Essa has also participated in works for Rail 2000, AlpTransit, FLP Doubling and Mendrisio-Confine Railway, as well as having contributed to the construction of various marinas, shopping centers, industrial buildings, parking garages, prisons, schools and canal works.
 
By maintaining a stock availability of the most up-to-date sheet pile profiles and by equipping itself with the latest generation of equipment (such as high-frequency and variable frequency modulation vibro-fixers), Tecnoterra SA is able to cope with different problems while providing the most appropriate solutions.
 
 

EQUIPMENT

Our equipment includes truck cranes and lattice-boom crawler cranes, crane trucks, drilling rigs, excavators equipped for laying sheet piles, vibrofixers, a hydraulic crane that can be used for loading and unloading for contractors, and Merlo Roto telescopic slewing lifts available for rental.

Vibrofixers range from traditional models to high-frequency variable models.

The latter significantly reduce resonance problems during machine startup and shutdown, enabling the laying of sheet piles near buildings.

We also have various oxyacetylene cutting machines, motor welders, wire welders, particulate filters and pumps for concrete, spritzbeton and gunite.

METALLIC PROFILES

Tecnoterra SA has a large storage warehouse with about 5,000 tons of sheet piles of various profiles, with special pieces and/or tees and with about 1,000 tons of HEB, IPE and UNP profiles, which are also available for rental.

U profiles have a strength modulus ranging from 600 to 3,200 cm³.

Z-profiles have a modulus of strength ranging from 1'300 to 2'450 cm³.

Skilled personnel in performing all types of welding and the assortment of H- and U-type metal profiles enable Tecnoterra SA to offer metalwork for various types of shoring.
