ES Echafaudages Services SA – Contacts & Location
Description
The Swiss specialist in tubular scaffolding rental and erection
In 1998, ES Echafaudages Services SA acquired and took over the activities, personnel and equipment of Echafaudages Rapides SA. Founded in 1964 in Lausanne, it operates in French-speaking Switzerland, mainly in Vaud and Valais.
We are equipped, both to erect "light" scaffolding (load 200 kg/m2) for facade renovations, painting or protection work, and "heavy" scaffolding (load 400 kg/m2) for new construction or major renovations, and this, on building heights of up to 70 meters.
In comparison with traditional scaffolding, the system chosen by Echafaudages Services consists of elements each resting on an independent post, thus offering the possibility of incorporating guardrails directly into the main structure. The scaffolding construction then forms a whole, from which no element can become detached, guaranteeing a maximum safety factor.
The construction's reinforcement takes the form of thick-walled tubes with a diameter of 42 mm, the only ones capable of guaranteeing that scaffolding of such great heights can be built without the risk of buckling. Despite these exceptional static qualities, the base elements remain lightweight and ensure fast assembly, as well as flexibility to suit all types of worksite and building form.
The basic elements are the same for "light" and "heavy" scaffolding, as well as for shoring, which simplifies assembly. Continuous bridges complete the scaffolding, offering optimum safety with wooden decking as thin as 3 centimetres.
