Me Thierry de MESTRAL is the author of a doctoral thesis in private insurance law.

After articling as a lawyer, he perfected his training by working as a clerk-editor first at the Tribunal administratif vaudois, currently the Cour de droit administratif et public of the Tribunal cantonal, and then at the second Cour de droit public of the Tribunal fédéral.

He thus acquired advanced training in public law, in particular spatial planning and aliens law.

Attorney-at-law since 2006, he has acquired extensive experience in family law, a field in which he completed FSA training, and in criminal law.

Me Thierry de MESTRAL is passionate about history. For many years, he has also demonstrated his commitment to animal protection through his membership of various associations.
