About me

I was already fascinated by photography as a child. I made my first attempts with my parents' camera and was enthusiastic about taking pictures from an early age

Later, as a teenager, I bought my first analog SLR camera, started experimenting and soon left nothing to chance. I still often take analog photos today, mostly in black and white. Analog photography is more authentic than digital photography. But whether analog or digital, the allure of taking pictures, intuitively or consciously, with simple means or elaborately staged, has always fascinated me.

After my apprenticeship as a decoration designer, I worked as a desktopper in various agencies, where I gained experience in commercial and advertising photography.

I learned the craft of image editing and trained in professional composing. I gained the tools for professional photography and a lot of valuable experience in various internships. I completed my three-year photography degree at the Bern and Biel School of Design with a federal diploma in HF.

My photographic work is mainly in the fields of architectural, industrial and subject photography. I enjoy doing freelance projects about people, stories and photo reportages. From time to time I also like to capture the beauty of nature.
