The Breite retirement home is located in the attractive Breite district of Schaffhausen. The two buildings Steig and Wiesli have beautifully maintained parks with a biotope, which invite you to linger on sunny days and can be used for walks. A public transport bus runs every 10 minutes from the nearby bus stop to the city.

We provide 135 elderly and vulnerable residents of Schaffhausen with a comfortable home and care, support and assistance geared towards normality.

Different forms of living are possible:

-        Beautiful single rooms with shower/WC with or without balcony

-        Twin room, for people who are very dependent and whose personality has changed.

All single rooms can be personally furnished with your own furniture  A nursing bed and a nursing bedside table  are provided by the house. All rooms are equipped with parquet flooring and underfloor heating. Carpets are not permitted in the rooms for safety reasons.

You will receive a key for your room. This also fits the entrance door, which is locked at night for security reasons. You can also use it to open your cellar box and letterbox.

The diverse communal areas offer plenty of scope for individual needs.
