The task of the Turgi waste incineration plant is to recycle municipal waste from 81 municipalities in the Ostaargau region in an environmentally friendly manner. The valuable energy from the waste is recovered and fed either as electrical energy into the public power grid or as thermal energy into the district heating network of Fernwärme Siggenthal AG.

Conditions

• One-off deliveries must be paid for in cash (minimum amount CHF 30.00 per delivery, which corresponds to approx. 100kg)
• Regular suppliers (from approx. 2 tons per month, regularly throughout the year) can be invoiced monthly. The monthly invoice amount is at least CHF

Delivery regulations

Any waste that is unsuitable for incineration in the facility or that endangers its existence or operation is excluded from acceptance. In particular:

• Excavated and demolition material
• Construction waste
• Earth and stones
• Electrical and electronic equipment
• Industrial glass waste
• Animal carcasses, butcher's and slaughterhouse waste
• Confiscates
• Explosive substances
• Poisons, chemical and radioactive substances
• Stable fertilizers
• Massive pieces of metal such as entire bicycles, motorcycles, car components, washing machines, refrigerators, stoves, boilers, tin barrels, iron bed frames, electric motors, iron bars, wire mesh, wire ropes
• Truck, car and motorcycle tires
• Garden waste and green waste
