Treatments
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is part of the spectrum of TCM treatments, the word comes from the Latin word "acu" meaning needle and the word "puncture" meaning to prick with needles. This treatment is based on a theory of invisible pathways called channels that span the entire body. The Qi flowing through these channels is life energy and underlies everything in the universe. Everything that lives, moves and breathes is believed to do so because Qi flows through it.
Most acupuncture points in the body are like little swirls of water along these channels. When these channels become deficient or blocked, the organs are starved of crucial Qi, and if this situation continues for a long period of time, it can lead to a whole host of acute and chronic problems. To promote the body back to health, the acupuncturist stimulates these points with painless single needles. This releases energy blockages and restores the natural flow of Qi in the organs. Because acupuncture is holistic, it treats the whole body, mind and spirit, not just the symptoms of the disease.
Visit your local TCM Energy Clinic for or call 044 201 9988 to book a NON-COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION and discover the amazing benefits of this 5000 year old medical practice.
ACUPRESSURE
Acupressure is a good alternative for anyone who suffers from a phobia of needles because it follows the same principle as acupuncture. It stimulates the same acupuncture points on the surface of the body with hands instead of needles,
the practitioner applies pressure with their hands.
Acupressure is an effective method for improving blood circulation and repairing tissue damage throughout the body. Through nerve stimulation acupressure can lead to relaxation, improve skin tone, ease tension in muscles and joints, and repair lymphatic damage on the face as well as overall body color. For this reason, it is often used as a facial beauty therapy.
Acupressure has also achieved remarkable success in curing insomnia and fatigue and reducing back and joint pain. But why not check out this amazingly beneficial treatment for yourself over the phone or why not go straight to the TCM Energy Clinic for to book a NON-COMPLIANCE CONSULTATION.Sessions are intensive and usually last around 30 minutes. Prices for treatments vary depending on the time.
HERBAL MEDICINE
Chinese herbal medicine uses a variety of medicinal herbal mixtures of roots, stems, barks, leaves or flowers.
These herbal mixtures are most commonly used in the form of tea or tablet to treat hormonal disorders, infections, respiratory disorders. The main strength of Chinese herbal medicine lies in strengthening the immune system, which has resistance to disease.
Cupping
Cupping is one of the oldest and most traditional treatments of TCM. It is often used to heal swollen, painful or stiff joints, and it can also be used to clear a cold.
In the cupping process, a glass is applied to the patient's skin, when the pressure of the glass is reduced (either by heat or suction), vital energy is released which helps the body to work more efficiently. Cupping is particularly effective in improving circulation, performing deep tissue repair and treating areas of the body that are affected by pain.
Sessions usually last around 20 minutes and cupping can be added as a complimentary extra when combined with acupuncture and full massage.
REFLEXZONE MASSAGE
Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to each organ gland and system in the body. By stimulating these reflexes, reflexology promotes deep healing and calm relaxation.
This therapy is particularly beneficial for joint mobilization, migraines, sinus, digestion, back problems and stress because it discharges negativity and stimulates the body's immune system to heal itself. It can also enhance overall well-being, book a session and go to your local Care Healing Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine clinic for a soothing session of reflexology.
EAR CANDLES
Ear candle therapy is used to unclog pores and promote circulation.
This therapy is very beneficial for headaches, sinus, lard and blockages in the ears.
Sessions usually last about 20 minutes.
THERAPEUTIC HYPERTHERMIA
In contrast to fever therapy, hyperthermia therapy involves artificially restricting the body's heat output, for example through baths or heat-accumulating compresses. Basically, hyperthermia refers to all procedures in which the overheating of the body or the tumor area is caused by micro or radio waves or by infrared emitters from the outside.
MOXIBUSTION
Moxibustion is performed by burning an herb near or on the body
to warm and stimulate the vital energy Qi. The pungent odors as well as the heat of the herb have the healing influence.
Moxibustion can be used to warm or invigorate your energy by nourishing the Qi and blood. This herb is particularly effective for bedwetting and can also be used in fertility treatment. Sessions usually last around 20 minutes and moxibustion can be added as a complimentary extra when combined with acupuncture and full massage.
