ryffel + ryffel AG Landscape Architects was founded in 1994 and is managed by Sandra and Thomas Ryffel. Together with 5-6 employees, we work on projects on a wide variety of scales. The modern office building is located in the middle of a gardening area. We also use this horticultural experimental area with a rich pool of plant material for our planning work. The special conditions are reflected in greening experiments in which we test the cultivation and use of the plants and then apply the findings in specific projects.

We are primarily involved in the planning and design of outdoor spaces around public buildings such as school facilities, outdoor areas around retirement homes and hospitals, cemeteries, squares and streetscapes. Our core competencies also include planning the surroundings of residential developments, and we place particular emphasis on well-founded planting planning for private gardens. In addition to these implementation-oriented tasks, we often prepare garden conservation reports for inventoried gardens.
