Taxes / cost credit
The WHB charges a monthly or daily flat rate for residents, which includes all services. A stay in a residential home is usually beyond the financial means of applicants. In order for admission to take place, residents must have a valid cost approval from the cost bearer by the day of admission at the latest. The rates are determined by a decision of the cantonal government. Any supplementary benefits required must be applied for separately.

Target group
Our residential group concept is an offer for people who live in assisted living and want to take the next step towards independence. However, we would also like to address people who need support in their living situation due to their social and psychological impairments.
Concept of the residential group
The residential group in the Bethlehem residential home is a transition from assisted living to supported living. The focus is on promoting and supporting living skills and strengthening personal responsibility. Five residents can be admitted.

The WHB offers various opportunities for a regular daily structure in the day care center. Residents can maintain or develop their existing resources. The various offers are guided, supervised and structured by specialists in the respective activities. Participation is voluntary and can be arranged via individual support planning. In the service, workshop and creative studio areas, a motivation bonus is paid based on the hours worked. The hours worked are recorded on the attendance list for each area. The day care center also includes the areas of everyday activities and residential training.
All residents of the residential home have access to the day center's services. They are the primary target group. The day center's services are also open to former residents and job-seekers in the IV/non-IV sector. For this purpose, the payer must have a corresponding cost approval and a suitable place must be available in the day care center.
