  • Samani - Ring Back Tones Service is a subscription-based service for all Omantel’s subscribers. (Prepaid and postpaid).

  • The charges for activating this Service, browsing the music catalogue and purchasing SAMANI service is provided on our website.The charges will be included in your bill for postpaid customers, and deducted from your main balance if you are a prepaid user.

  • The charges for activating this service, browsing the music catalog, and purchasing Samani service are available on our website http://samani.omantel.omThe charges will be included in your bill for Baqati postpaid customers and deducted from your main balance if you are a Hayyak prepaid customer.

  • If you are a prepaid customer and didn’t have sufficient credit on the renewal date, your subscription will be on a renewal grace for 90 days. From the next day onwards, we will retry to charge you on a daily basis during the grace period, and callers will still be able to hear your Ringback tone until the 90 days are over.

  • The Ring Back Tone service you purchase are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

  • If you decide to deactivate the Ringback Tone service or if you have already exceeded your 90-day grace period, your Ringback Tone service will no longer be available.

  • The Ringback Tone service is neither exchangeable nor refundable.

  • There are various ways that Ringback Tone service can be subscribed to, please visit http://samani.omantel.om for more details. Additionally, you can subscribe to Ringback Tone service without logging in; just subscribe to the service and you will be automatically logged in to your account. You will be notified of all charges before you buy the Ring Back Tone service.

  • You can copy a Ringback Tone from a caller if they are an Omantel’s mobile customer with Ringback Tone service activated.

  • Omantel may at its discretion invite customers to a "Try & Buy" offer whereby the Ringback Tone service would be offered for a pre-determined duration without the customer incurring monthly recurring charges. If you are invited to such an activity, you may be given the option to continue with the Ringback Tone Service at the end of the offer period, after which you would be charged normal monthly subscription charges.

    If the user is not logged in and the tone is not selected, then the mobile number and OTP should be entered after tone selection. The subscriber will automatically be logged in after purchasing the tone and entering the OTP.

  • No, you can’t. By subscribing to Samani service, you acquire the right to play the tone to whoever calls you, but the tone stays on Omantel’s network and cannot be downloaded.

  • My friend has a tone that I would like for me to use as Samani Tone, how can I get it?
  • Whenever you call your friend and hear the tone you want, press * to copy the tone.

  • How do I set a Samani Tone for everyone?
  • Via IVR: When you hear the tone you want, press 1, “To set this tone for all callers’’.
    Via SMS: Send ACT to 90009, then send TOP and you will get top Trending Tones.
    Via Website: Select the tone, Set, Enter Mobile Number, Enter OTP, All the Callers, Set.

  • Can I play different tones to different callers?
  • Yes, you can. You can customize tones for any caller, and through all channels.
    - Via IVR: When you hear the tone you want, press 1 for "set options”, then press 2 for “To set this tone for a special number”. Enter the contact's number and you are ready to go.
    - Via Website: Select the tone, Set, Enter Mobile Number, Enter OTP, Special Callers, Insert the Number, SET

  • Yes, users can set more than one tone through any channel.

  • Is it possible to cancel only one tone?
  • Yes, users can cancel only one of the tones by calling IVR 1236 and selecting Manage Your Profile under Help Menu.
