Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Comparator Basic Set B234 gives you precise bullet measurements by measuring from the bullet's base to its ogive. Other reloading tools like this gauge bullet size by measuring across the tip, which can lead to variations of up to .025". That number doesn't sound like much, but in the small-increment world of reloading even a small variation can lead to a lot of problems. The Hornady Bullet Comparator with Six Bushings instead uses the bullet's ogive as a jumping-off point, reducing variation and making for a more accurate handloading experience. This valuable piece of Hornady reloading equipment utilizes a thumbscrew to attach to your caliper of choice without extra tools. Six bushings have been included by Hornady so you can measure some of the most common calibers, including .224, .284, and .308. There are few ways to measure bullet size and compare uniformity that are more simple and more precise than the Hornady Lock-N-Load Six Bushing Bullet Comparator.image
