What do I need to do if mine doesn't sit all the way down?.... threads on barrel are to long Expert Answer

Put this on a crappy 7.62 IO ak I have. Stacked an asr charlie flash hider on it, put on hybrid 46m and checked alignment with rod and it was good to go. I dont like stacking devices but no choice with left hand threads for my set up.

it doesn't have the little cutout for the pin to keep it in place, and it doesn't cover all the threads so I had to use a crush washer. It works with the can and doesn't cause me any other issues
