will it work on a Norico Knockoff

I opted for an UltiMAK Picatinny rail replacement hand guard. (Mainly because I thought this mount would sit higher than a GI mount.) I have a GI Issue mount with a Leatherwood scope on an M1A1 Loaded. (It is a heavier gun, the Norinco is light and I have a MePro M 21 sight all the way forward.) I have owned both these rifles since 1995, they are both practically brand new. I have only feed the M1A1 8 rounds to sight it in. I carried an M-14 in the Marine Corps. Now I work out with it everyday for muscle memory.

Best scope Mount I've found for the M1a that I've found fits like a glove ! Removed the older and much heavier Mount and what a difference. Shot grorups are covered with a dime at 300 yards instead of a quarter. Made a wt. difference as well.

Like most mounts on a semi-auto large caliber gun it needed locking down with Loc-tite. But once that was done all has been ok with 100+ rounds expended. Pros: Works great once glued down - as most other mounts Cons: None I can find
