The battery is installed through the top of the red dot and does not require that you remove it from its mount. The battery can be installed quickly and easily through the battery compartment right behind the lens.

No, there’s a round plate on top that unscrews and houses the battery. Maintains zero and don’t have to take off.

No the battery compartment is located on the top of the base, just below the sight glass.
