This bi-pod has ticked every box for me in the application that I use it. I own several others and this is my new favorite. It’s easy to use, fast deployment and sturdy. Do yourself a favor and just get it.

This is a great bipod that's easy to use and allows for quick adjustment. It's easy to install and uninstall and is great for the added stability. It is on the heavier side so it wouldn't be my first choice hiking through the backcountry.

Very nice design and rugged construction, very functional, and made in the USA. High quality machining, nice surface finish on all parts, and everything fits together precisely without slop or excess clearance. The leg angle and height adjustments make setting bore height easy and straightforward. I like the design of the Atlas V8 enough that I bought 2, but I wish that at the time of purchase you could select the 'ski feet' rather than the 'rubber feet', which I think have limited real-world usefulness.
Pros:
- Made in the USA!!!
- Quality of design and construction
Cons:
- Cannot order unit configured with 'ski feet'

While worth every dollar, high quality, light weight, PRECISION, bipod. My accuracy at 100 yards saw major improvement on the first use.

I bought this Atlas Bipod and have a Harris Bipod for comparison. I bought this model Atlas Bipod for. 22LR bench rest match shooting. This Atlas Bipod has more adjustment (5 deployment positions) than the Harris (1 deployment position). The Harris is more securely attached to the rail than the Atlas. The Harris is more heavy-duty than the Atlas and would be better for bigger caliber rifles, IMO. Overall, the Atlas is a very good bipod. It has some play in it, and i will try to get it tightened up. But it is a really good bipod and I would definitely recommend it.
Pros:
- lots of adjustment
- made in America
- Light weight
Cons:
- Price $$$ - unfortunately good things come out a price.
- Moves after secured
Best Used for:
- Bench & competition shooting

I've been waiting to purchase a top tier bipod and particularly an Atlas. I love machines and this one is a perfect match for my 24" creed. Not a magpul...not sorry...
