I have been a fan of the lower priced Bushnell scopes for my 22 rifles over the past 40 years. On my large caliber rifles I have always put Leupold and Nikon. My 4500 Elite arrived yesterday. I looks good. I mounted it on one of my AR-15s. The field view is incredibly clear. Furthermore, target acquisition is faster and easier obtained than any scope I have. I have paid twice and three times more for for scopes by other manufacturers. Their sight pictures are good, but not close to the quality of this scope. After I picked up this scope at the Post Office, I bought (at Sportsmen's Warehouse) a Leupold VX-Freedom 1.5-4 (Pig-Plex) to replace my Ghost Ring sight no my 45-70 Guide Gun. I live in Montana and the Guide Gun is a necessity for big bears and wolves on the property. The Freedom meets my needs. But its sight picture in is only about 75% as clear and functional as the Elite. You really can't appreciate value of this scope until you mount it and look through it.

Mounted this on my Ruger American Compact 6.5 Creedmore GoWild. Great scope for the money! Very clear optics and eye relief is great! Would buy again! I like better than my Leupold. Fast shipping too!! Thanks OpticsPlanet!
