Nice G10 grips

I found that the original one piece E2 grip on the P226 didn't provide me with the best feel in hand. In contrast, this Hogue G10 Piranha grip looks great, fitment is great, and it provides a better grip and feel in hand for me. Although somewhat hard to describe, the shape is slightly different and perhaps wider then the E2. The texture is definitely different (better) than the E2. This grip has been a worthwhile upgrade for me.

Overall I like this optic and its features for the price. Shake awake is important feature to me. Having the ability to mount a rear site turns out to be a nice feature that I've not seen on other optics. Only issue is that the battery compartment is on the bottom so you'd need to take the optic off to replace the battery, then remount and re-zero it. Guess this is the one compromise for an optic at its price point.

I was pleasantly surprise with this optic. All the features one expects from an optic these days including shake awake although not having multiple reticles and just a 3 MAO dot. Nice big window in contrast to the Holosun 507K I had. Really like the feature of having a rear stealth tritium co-witness iron site since I had to remove the rear iron site in order to install an optic plate on the pistol. The one downside of this optic in that the battery is mounted on the bottom of the optic so the it will have to be removed and re-zeroed during a battery replaced. However, IMO it's reasonably priced. It includes all the accessories and even an optic cover that not even Holosun includes with their optics. I'm pleased with this optic for the price and features.
Doesn't work

After great experience with the Maglula speed loader for other calibers I bought this one for loading 22 lr magazines. I found that it doesn't work on Taurus 22 lr magazines nor Ruger Mark IV 22 lr magazines even with the single stack adapter. Completely useless and very disappointed. A total waste of money of this loader and the adapter.

I've been using other Maglulu speed loaders. Was after one for loading Ruger Mark IV magazines. However, this one with the 1911 single stack adapter is a grave disappointment as it does NOT work for loading the Ruger Mark IV 22 single stack magazine. Totally useless purchase. Beware of its compatibility with various 22 magazines.

Maglula are the best speed loaders

While one doesn't absolutely need a speed loader having one makes it much easier and quicker to load a magazine especially when you want to fill it to the max.

Best Speed Loader Around

This is the best speed loader around. Much better then included with the pistol. Also handles a few different calibers. Some magazines have a strong spring or it gets tougher as the magazine spring compresses as you load cartridges. This make loading a cinch. Good to have one handy. Quick and easy.

Very handy magazine speeder loader. Convenient and so much easier loading a magazine. Highly recommended. However, be careful choosing the right model as Maglula offers a few different ones.
