It works as designed. There’s a slight play to the grip when locked but this isn’t for the precision rifle build but for a specific set up that folds up very compact. So long as you accept that this is for you. You don’t really feel it when shooting just when tinkering with it.
I used it on a short set up that I have a Unity 2.26” Mount which made it hard to fit into a bag.
To give you an idea of how compact this is, if you fold the grip & insert a 10 round PMAG this thill be even with the 10 round PMAG

Low profile, metal construction yet smaller profile so doesn’t really add any real noticeable weight over the older one. Biggest improvement is these you cannot inadvertently flip up like the older polymer versions that when you small the hand-guard or pull the charging handle.

Even though I returned mine due to no fault of the product & was me ordering the wrong item I still wanted to share that this device is awesome, I already had one of this same otter that I removed & tried this to get an idea then simply ordered the correct thread version.

I got it for my Rattler to shoot 556, however it comes with everything needed to build another AR IF you have a receiver. So that’s what I’m going to do in the future to add a second piston AR to my collection.
If you are planning to build an 11” AR and don’t mind spending on premium parts, this is a good way to go.
For those who haven’t shot a piston AR, you’ll thank me after shooting it the first time with some significant amount of rounds & come home to clean it, Voila! The receiver looks like you already spent some time cleaning it.

If you want to carry/transport an AR or any size & not look like that’s why you are carrying, this is the only tried & true adapter in the market! I’ve tried the “other one” and nothing has the fit/finish & quality like these.

This product is a must have if you have a “backpack AR” it folds away allowing you to “drop” some height to help compensate for the added height for an optic to allow for it to fit in narrower places!
Only con is there’s a slight play but let’s face it it’s not for “the Sniper rifle”

I have 3 of these units. One of them gets dragged around all the time & tossed everywhere in a backpack. It has yet to fail me in any way. Several thousand rounds throw at-least one rifle equipped with this unit. Just make sure it’s locked in place. Don’t risk your life with a knockoff or substandard equipment. LT folding adapter is the way to go if you want maximum space saving.

I own several of these(1moa,3.25moa,6.5moa as well as a 5MOA SRO) along with many Holosun, Sig, vortex RDS, my tires near blind eyes really can’t shoot with iron sights so literally every pistol I own has an RDS mounted. The RMR is really the gold standard for MRDS/RDS(pistol mounted).
On a range gun you get the best you can afford.... but if it’s for competition or ESPECIALLY if your life depends on it RMR is the way to go!

I carry & shoot pretty much nothing but RDS equipped pistols & Carbines now a days, due to my issues with my eyes. I simply can’t shoot irons fast. I own 2 RMR’s 1 SRO, 1 Sig Romeo1 another Romeo 3, several other aimpoint & EOTech optics to name a few for the sake of a true review. I got this unit a while back, ran it as a 45° offset(on an arisaka defense 45° mount) paired with a Sig Tango6T on an 11.5” SBR. Primarily used it for quick target acquisition/transition while on any type of magnification as your FOV will make for a rather narrow field of view(relatively speaking). After running it for a while I realized the “circle dot” makes for a super fast acquisition & wanted to try this reticle on a pistol. So I put it a pistol my 226 TacOps & liked it so much that I got two of the lower(507v2GR) for them.... also picked up its big brother the 510c elite to replace one of my XPS2(not that I chucked the EOTech simply saved it for a different gun).... today I came back to pick on a second one of this in green reticle to replace the 45° just to have a different color for that transition(figured the red one can just go in my next optic ready pistol.
If you’ve read this so far, you can guess I own almost as many of the Holosun’s as all other brands together. Really guys(and gals) if you are looking for one for duty(assuming your department allows this) anything from Holosun would fit the bill, however if it’s for duty specific I’d get the Models that ends with a “T” at the end of

Love the new switch, if you are worried about size & want a flush fit under a G19x or Staccato C size gun(I run it on both) this works great! They come with both large & small size switches. Love the on/off with a twist function for transport.
