Install is straight forward if you read the instructions. Trigger feels better (shorter pulls) than factory trigger. This binary trigger real brings a Nak9 to life

Its a great product but instructions and instructional video kind of suck. They are very vague as to what models it is compatible with and now i have to experiment with it myself and see which one of my aks it will drop into. Im about to do some dremel work on my draco see if i can get it in if not its going on a m85 and hopefully it'll find its forever home

5 thirty round mag dumps and it functions flawlessly! Easy drop in installation. Fast way to burn up 7.62x39 ammo.

My Shooting buddy was nice enough to purchase me a binary trigger from Franklin Armory, when I received the unopened package from him, I opened it up and noticed that the product had already been opened by somebody else, anyway, I work on guns, and this thing did not work as per Franklin armory, they were very nice I mean, exceptionally nice, trying to help me get this to work, to no avail sincerely, mick

Don’t waste your time and money. Needs modifications to either the grip screw or the hammer retaining pin, they are to far apart and holes don’t line up. I spent several hours attempting an install and I don’t want to heavily modify the receiver for a “drop in trigger.“

After wasting hundreds of rounds adjusting this trigger I finally got it to run correctly for a few mags. Then after a few months I went to shoot with rifle and it was back to square one. It was once again jamming with light primer strikes. The spring seems too weak compared to factory spring. Don’t waste your time or money

I like to practice "controlled pairs" as I learned in the Army. When set on binary, landing hits quickly and closely to one another is MUCH easier. The trigger itself looks pretty sturdy and should last some time. I would like to point out that the AK platform one I bought is a bit tough with fitting and the such. Also don't count on using some handles/furniture, such as a Hera Stock, and maybe some Magpul hardware as well.

arrived used and broken. normally id just get a replacement but apparently optics planet will not refund or replace this item. i am unsure why but not happy that i just bought a used paper weight. the construction is poor and relies on a pretty small c clip looking spring to hold it in place. pretty sure im going to get a trigger i wont have to worry about as this one not only has design flaws but bad quality control to the point distributors wont refund or replace and items in sealed packaging are sent out with used parts from the manufacturer. very displeased with this purchase. luckily it wasnt a set of nvgs i couldnt return. yet this paper weight is still the price of a glock.
Cons:
- Broken
- non refundable
- non replaceable

Pretty easy to install. Franklin Armory has a YouTube video to follow along with. Have super glue ready for hammering in the plugs to the holes. Mine popped out a few times before hitting them hard and square enough to get in. I needed to Dremel a small burr from my trigger guard rivets to get the trigger to sit flush. Ten seconds tops, careful not to do too much and touch the finish on your receiver. I didn’t need to adjust the adjustment screw to pass the function tests on the video. I trimmed the sticker to just show the bullets/function positions and it looks much better. Cyclic rate is fantastic! I have a AK Buff medium orange buffer in it that helps the recoil and might help increase the speed of cycling. Wish it had a normal looking AK safety lever to complete the look, but they probably had a reason not to do it. Check out my YouTube video “Binary Micro Draco SBR Dead Air Wolverine PBS-1” to see it suppressed and unsuppressed. Won’t work in my PAP M92 or Underfolder AK because of fit as stated by the manufacturer. Only works in stamped receivers too.
Pros:
- Increased rate of fire
- Three position switch
Best Used for:
- entertainment
- Tactical drills

I purchased this trigger thinking it was a good choice. I could not have been more wrong. After 90 rounds pins started backing out, unit would FIRE FROM SAFE POSITION, the other screw holding selector in place came out after pushing pins back in so it’s locked in semi. Called Franklin sent to get repairs stuff happens what ever thinking it would be repaired. Have to pay to ship it have to include receipt and copy of my license etc. I get it back and the screw that holds the selector is stripped out so I can’t even reinstall the stupid thing. The screw that holds the safety selector is the biggest flaw and pain to get in and out it’s to short to reach so it’s no wonder it stripped now I have to order a tool to get that out then find another screw or call Franklin again to try to order a new screw because most likely they will either want me to send it back again for repair and won’t issue a refund
Cons:
- Poor quality does not hold up
