Most Helpful Positive Review Leupold VX-5HD 56mm scope
this scope is pricey but the clarity is great ! After having looking thru the VX-6hd scope this was cheaper and had the same great clarity for less just a couple options less that did not appeal to me for the price . Great eye relief that many of us " senior " people need !

Awesome scope. I have owned just about every scope on the market and I always go back to a Leupold. Now don’t get me wrong you can buy a cheap Leupold and it will not be the same quality. With this scope being there mid range price I will put it up against there 3K+ scopes. This particular scope does really good in low light conditions and turrets always track correctly!! Great Scope!

love this super clear and the vision is vary eye opening..well be great for dear hunting and big game..or target shooting your choice ..the lighting in this is super great can see real well at low light environment ..

leupold VX-5HD 3-15x56 CDS-ZL2

Nice scope for the money. Excellent clarity and good low light performance. Also plenty of eye relief. I do wish the windage adjustments were more sturdy as they seem somewhat cheap compared to the VX6.

This is an amazing product that was far less expensive through optics planet than anywhere else i looked at. The CDS feature is phenomenal. Don't forget your accessories so your ready to mount and shoot.

Love this scope on A bolt Browning 3006 .Had promblem with my older scope not being to see cross hair because of my eye site .The fire dot duplex works very good for me .A very clear scope even at 15 ×

Great for night hunting

Great scope, The 56mm objective with fire dot is the perfect combo for night hunting. Other scopes that illuminate a large portion of the reticle can make it difficult to see far away eyes. The fire dot is perfect. If you are looking for a lighter weight setup and mostly plan to day hunt get the 44mm objective.

Game changer

In my opinion and experience this scope by far exceeds all other scopes on the market for hunting conditions!!!! Extremely clear and picks up finer details unseen thru so many scopes out there. And that first/last 15min of shooting light is no longer a problem. Also the zl2 dial system works amazing!!!! 600yds is soo easy with this scope and the zero stop keeps it from moving around on your back or in the brush w/e. It's as simple as it gets and it works!

HANDS DOWN, BAD @$$ SCOPE

Put this scope of my TC 6.5 creedmoore this year and I couldn't be more pleased. From the eye relief to how it performed in low light conditions I have nothing bad to say about it. You have clarity, comfort, and the peace of mind when using Leupold products, specifically the VX-5HD.

The Best Bang for the Buck with Leupold large objective side focus CDS Firedot without vx6 prices.

56 mm objective. It took forever it seems to be in stock ANYWHERE, but i'm glad i held out. Craftsmanship is typical Leopold gold ring perfection , nice weight, no serious issues with mount clearance on a weatherby vanguard S2 270win. Warne med's or Leupold prw Mediums would have worked with about 1/16" barrel clearance w/out flip covers. High prw's gave me 1/8" plus a smidge. Using a warne Pic rail. Warne maxima's obscure the cds. About to get Spuhr medium unimount and we'll see how she works. Light gathering and eye box seem excellent. OpticsPlanet helped me out and i'm very happy with the entire package price and quality-wise !! thanks OP

worth every penny

This rifle scope is worth every penny I was a Vortex guy for a long time but I found that the vortex would not hold its zero and the relief was terrible so I decided to step up to the big leagues and buy a Leupold it is safe to say that I will never buy a Vortex again the relief on this scope is a hundred times better and it is crystal clear not to mention that the fire dot Is so cool
