The battery is installed through the top of the red dot and does not require that you remove it from its mount. The battery can be installed quickly and easily through the battery compartment right behind the lens.

Where can I get a low Picatinny rail mount for this? Expert Answer

Swampfox offers a low mount on their website, but you can also use any standard Trijicon RMR mount with this unit and that should open the options to thousands of mounts.
