About the project

The Challenge

The centre did not have enough computers to support the town’s population in the town. Therefore, it was not easy for the residents to acquire digital skills without sufficient equipment. In addition, the area did not have enough centres where people could gain IT skills.  

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the Ndoto Zetu initiative, donated computers worth KES. 400,000.  

The Impact

The computers have ensured that the people in Bura area have access to IT equipment where they can gain digital skills and become computer literate.
