About the project

The Challenge

The school did not have a source of water in the compound. Pupils used to fetch water from the neighbours which resulted in inconveniences and affected their classwork.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the Ndoto Zetu initiative, donated a water tank worth KES 200,000.

The Impact

The pupils now have a conducive learning environment and can concentrate on their classwork. They are no longer at risk of waterborne diseases because the hygienic conditions at the school have improved.
