About the project

The Challenge

Students did not have quiet time to read textbooks, story books and revise on their own as the school lacked a well-equipped library.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated a library and more than 1, 300 books at a cost of KES 1.6 million.

The Impact

Thirty students can access the library at the same time. The books are expected to boost the learners’ literacy skills. There is a conducive learning environment that will result to improved academic performances.
