About the project

The Challenge

The school saw a rise in enrollment numbers, but the desks and chairs available were not enough to cater for all the students. Many parents in the area were poor and could not afford to raise the funds to purchase new desks and chairs for their children.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the Ndoto Zetu initiative, donated 20 desks and chairs worth KES 100,000.

The Impact

All the students can now learn comfortably in their classes without being congested or confined to one desk.
