About the project

The Challenge

Students lacked equipment to learn carpentry, welding and masonry. This had even limited enrolment because with no tools to use, there was no conducive environment for learning.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated carpentry, masonry and welding equipment at a cost of KES 521, 000.

The Impact

The students are learning effectively using the tools. Learning has improved and the TVET institution is recruiting more students.
