About the project

The Challenge

The school’s water supply was not enough to cater for the growing student population because of inconsistencies and limited water tanks. The hygiene standards especially in the washrooms were low, which was a health risk for the learners.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the Ndoto Zetu Initiative, donated a water tank worth KES.200,000.

The Impact

The school is now able to harvest and store water for future use. Learners can study without fear of contracting waterborne diseases.
