About the project

The Challenge

 

The school had no physical library making it difficult for research work and private studies for learners. Learners shared the few available books for their studies.

The Intervention

 

Safaricom Foundation’s Pamoja scheme funded the construction and equipping of the library at a cost of KES 1.2 Million.

The Impact

There is improved individual pupil performances and that of the school in general. The pupils have improved their reading culture.
