Mind EUR Mental Health will provide an opportunity for youth workers and newcomers to meet project partners to develop youth exchanges within the framework of the new Erasmus+ programme, particularly projects working across the theme of Mental Health.
- Develop contacts and networks to engage in youth exchanges with other participants working on the theme of Mental Health
- Allow for the engagements of Newcomers in Youth Exchange projects
- Share information and experiences of their organisation, target groups and projects working across the theme of mental health
- Gain a clear view of the possibilities and priorities within the Youth in Action Programme/Erasmus +
- Understand how to include non-formal learning and Youthpass in Youth Exchange Projects
The target group for this event were youth workers and those working with young
people who were interested in participating in a Youth Exchange within the theme
of Youth Mental Health. We had 17 Participants
from a variety of countries including Ireland, The Netherlands, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, UK, Romania, Turkey, Poland and France.
The trainer team consisted of 2 trainers: one from Ireland and one from NL (me)
A diverse range of non-formal learning methods was used throughout the training course. We encouraged many different ways of learning in order to reach and satisfy the individual learning needs of the participants, like group works, discussion groups, art materials, etc.
We have written an evaluation report of this training with information about the outcomes (which can be send on request) - participants were satisfied with the programme
I was one of three main trainers in the trainer team, responsible for the development of the training as well as the complete facilitation.
