To explore the European Solidarity Corps Programme with a special focus on understanding the differences between volunteering and occupational framework
To build a common understanding of quality aspects of the European Solidarity Corps volunteering, traineeship and job projects.
To train and empower a national team of mentors, who will continue working with their National Agency.
To create a national pool of mentors
To develop participant’s competences in counselling, giving feedback, and guiding the process of project idea development
30 participants several European countries joined the course and as mentioned above, they were either newcomers or experienced mentors
Me and 2 facilitators from Greece with the support of staff member of the Hellenic National Agency.
6 content modules hosted on HOP online learning platform and 3 online training activities using Zoom conferencing tool.
Content on HOP platform includes text-based, video and visuals enhanced sessions, discussion forums, case studies from mentoring, other interactive digital tools.
According to participants evaluation and feedback, all objectives were achieved to a very good extent, with at least 60% of the responses in all and any different objectives lying on the positive side of the spectrum (‘4’ or ‘5’). If objective #1 (which is further analysed below) is taken out of the equation, this number ‘rockets’ to 88%.
