Aims & objectives

To further and systematically carry the provisions of the European Youth Participation Strategy forward especially through the enhancement of the National Strategies for Participation and also through the participants’ future involvement within the (inter)national youth work and training field.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The team of Trainers was constituted by a Greek and a Lithuanian National, supported by a Portuguese Coordinator.

The participants came from Germany, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Slovenia, and Bosnia.

Learning Modules, Interactive Sessions, Coaching calls

Outcomes of the activity

Deeper understanding of the European Youth Participation Strategy and its role within the EU Youth Strategy (2019 - 2027) and the European Youth Goals.
Understanding of youth participation challenges and identification of further training and support needs.
Developed training concepts and methodologies aiming to improve youth participation within the Programmes (E+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps) and beyond.
Discovery of future opportunities to support SNAC strategic partnership activities.
Creation of a culture of collaboration and networking among participants (trainers) to enrich their future work with their respective National Agencies and beyond.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Coordination of the overall activity, the successful implementation of the objectives, and accountability of the results towards the stakeholders (National Agencies and SALTO Resource Centres)

I worked on this training for 10 days as a full time trainer.
