The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) is one of six North South Bodies established on 8 March 1999 as a consequence of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement – an agreement between the Government of Ireland and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The SEUPB has the statutory remit for managing EU funding programmes within Northern Ireland and the six border counties of Ireland. We have managed many iterations of the PEACE and INTERREG Programmes, as well as supporting the delivery of numerous Transnational Programmes.
The new PEACEPLUS Programme will continue to provide vital investment to Northern Ireland and the cross-border region. This investment will protect and preserve the hard-won peace and provide opportunities for building prosperity in the years ahead.
