Dear Friends,
The situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is evolving rapidly, requiring us to adapt quickly to a variety of issues. The University of Texas at Dallas is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus), and there are currently no known cases within the UT Dallas community. UT Dallas has established an FAQ section on its COVID-19 website to keep you informed during this time. This site will be updated as new information becomes available.
To our students, Spring Break has been extended by one week, and classes scheduled for March 23-27 are canceled. Per President Benson and UT System, all classes at that point will be transitioned to an online-only format starting March 30th. Our staff and faculty are working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible, and we are fortunate to be supported by excellent existing e-Learning resources. Revised syllabi will be available for courses by March 25.
To our friends in the community, please know that we are still committed as ever to our mission of "Teaching the Past, Changing the Future." To that end, we are exploring various ideas so that we can develop and present virtual events to continue to teach the history, legacies, and lessons of the Holocaust.
