Most common second-hand purchases by category in France 2024

Sustainability becomes more and more important in our day and age. One possibility to be more sustainable when it comes to consumption, is to buy products pre-owned. French consumers most commonly buy Clothing second-hand followed by Books, movies, music & games (excluding downloads), while they are least likely to buy Stationery & hobby supplies second-hand. These results are based on our representative online survey conducted in 2024 among 2,032 respondents in France.
