The value of digital payments steadily grew over the past years across Russia. The aggregate volume of electronic payment orders through the internet amounted to around one quadrillion Russian rubles in 2023. A total of about 1.1 quadrillion Russian rubles in electronic payment orders were recorded across the country in the latest period observed.
